Dr. JOSHUA SALDAÑA

Joshua Saldaña, DVM

Dr. Saldaña grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and as a former technician at Border Animal Hospital, he is excited to return as a DVM! He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in May of 2026. Ever since he could remember, he knew that he wanted to become a Veterinarian and dedicate himself to caring for animals and the people that call them family. Throughout veterinary school he developed a passion for Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his two cats. Most of his time is spent outside doing activities such as hunting, fishing, birdwatching and wildlife photography. When he is not outside, he enjoys cooking and watching Texas A&M sports.
